ROYAL ASCOT 2027
15th – 19th June 2027
The inaugural Royal Ascot meeting took place over 300 years ago in 1711, since which it has evolved into the epitome of both world class racing and high fashion and is arguably the premier racing event in the world. The Royal Meeting is inundated with Group 1 races and glamorous spectators and, with over £8m in prize money, it always attracts the best horses, trainers and jockeys as well as the rich and famous from all walks of life. A highlight each day at 2pm is the Royal Procession as the attending Royals arrive on the course in an open Landau via Windsor Great Park, accompanied by their guests. This Procession has happened annually since its initiation by King George IV in 1825.
The Facilities
The Ascot Village
The Restaurant in the Village offers a lively celebratory experience, featuring colourful interiors, inventive dining and great views of the horses as they turn into the home straight and race to the finish.
Positioned directly opposite the main Grandstand, the Village Enclosure makes the perfect base for an exquisite day of hospitality. Boasting unrivalled views from a private viewing area, which is situated adjacent to the Winning Post, guests will feel immersed in all of the days racing action and acquire possibly the best view of the Royal Procession.
The restaurant is located in its own private area adjacent to the Village Enclosure, and guests are welcome to enjoy all the entertainment the Village Enclosure has to offer (Thursday to Saturday only), including live music and a DJ until 9pm.
Royal Ascot Pavilion
The historic Pavilion Restaurant, with sweeping views over the Queen Anne Lawns, offers a vibrant environment from which to enjoy both excellent food and Group 1 racing at Royal Ascot.
The restaurant offers delightful views across the Queen Anne Lawns, and is located just a short stroll from the trackside lawns from which guests can view the racing. Popular with large groups, the Pavilion is an ideal space for corporate groups and parties to enjoy a true Royal Ascot experience.
Lawn Club
The Lawn Club is a two-tiered facility in the Home Straight located at the east of the Grandstand overlooking, and just metres from, the track.
The Lawn Club offers a modern, informal dining experience within a beautiful track facing marquee. The restaurant also enjoys a wide balcony overlooking course from which to view the Royal Procession and all the racing action.
The Gallery
Offering formal yet relaxed dining, The Gallery offers a light summery setting with a private balcony and great views of the track. The Gallery is a spacious restaurant occupying the first floor of a light and welcoming marquee.
The menu will showcase a blend of classic recipes, modern techniques and theatrical twists. A private veranda affords guests clear, elevated views of the Royal Procession and racing action along the home straight.
Furlong Restaurant
The Furlong Restaurant brings an innovative style of cuisine to the Queen Anne Enclosure with dishes served from either chefs’ tables or at the table. It is housed in a bespoke marquee in an exclusive setting at the east end of the Grandstand, before the Winning Post.
There is an exclusive private balcony, with plentiful seating and uninterrupted views of the finishing straight; a wonderful vantage point for the Royal Procession and all the action.
Royal Enclosure – The Veranda
Located at the superb vantage point of the winning post on the inside of the track, this exclusive restaurant combines private indoor tables with flexible outdoor seating to overlook the panorama of Royal Ascot.
The restaurant’s location and private, dedicated viewing area puts guests right alongside the racing action and one can also access the Royal Enclosure Gardens via a private track crossing.
The innovative four course lunch menu offers a sumptuous grazing-style Fine Dining experience, with an array of chefs’ stations providing a wealth of dishes for all tastes, all rounded off by an extensive afternoon tea with savoury additions.
Royal Enclosure – The Sandringham
Tom Shepherd, founder and executive chef of Michelin-starred Lichfield restaurant UPSTAIRS, returns to host the stunning Sandringham in 2027.
