With five days of thrilling action set against the magnificent backdrop of the rolling Sussex countryside, Qatar Goodwood Festival – popularly known as Glorious Goodwood – is the sporting and social highlight of the flat-racing season. Traditionally taking place at the end of July/beginning of August, here the finest thoroughbreds compete in some of the world’s most prestigious races.

The Facilities
March and Sussex Stand Boxes
March Stand – Perfect for groups of 12 (seated) – 15 (buffet) guests, the March Stand boxes directly overlook the Winning Post and command a dramatic position within the Richmond Enclosure.
Sussex Stand – Situated on the first floor of this elegant stand, these boxes can seat 16 guests and have stunning views of the racecourse and the beautiful countryside beyond.
All boxes have balconies overlooking the course.
The Final Furlong
In a prime viewing position alongside the finishing straight, this light and airy pavilion enjoys sweeping views over the racecourse and the Sussex Downs.
Charlton Hunt Restaurant
The balcony of the Charlton Hunt Restaurant offers a spectacular panorama of Chichester, the English Channel and the Isle of Wight – not to mention head-on views of the finish line. Tables of 10 guests are recommended.
Secret Garden
Secret Garden – A fabulous garden bedecked with wild English flowers, this award-winning wonderland is an enchanting space located in an excellent position just beyond the winning post.
The Long View
Its vantage point at the top of the Richmond Enclosure makes The Long View one of the best places to spend a raceday. Floor to ceiling windows make the room spectacular and provide panoramic views – the perfect sight to look at whilst enjoying a glass of sparkling wine.
